“We Still Dance” is an ongoing collaboration with Danza Organica and an intergenerational group of 9 members of the Aquinnah Wampanoag tribe. Adhering to Indigenous storytelling, dance, song, and installation- Âs Nupumukômun explores what it means to be Native today by highlighting traditional and contemporary stories of the Aquinnah Wampanoag People.

In 2021, I created four, ten foot silk paintings to tell the story of the Wampanoag people from legend, to colonization; where the tribe is now, to where we are going. In 2022, the three colored silk pieces below were created to show the joy of the story and this collaboration continuing into the present.
