“We Still Dance” is an ongoing collaboration with Danza Organica and an intergenerational group of 9 members of the Aquinnah Wampanoag tribe. Adhering to Indigenous storytelling, dance, song, and installation- Âs Nupumukômun explores what it means to be Native today by highlighting traditional and contemporary stories of the Aquinnah Wampanoag People.

Ten foot silk paintings created for the dance performance tell the story of the Wampanoag people from legend, to colonization; where the tribe is now, to where they are going.
